10 Easy Ways To Support Gilda's Club Today

Looking for more ideas on how you can help us build a Gilda’s Club in Atlanta today? 

1. Don’t stress out at the mall! A donation to Gilda’s Club Greater Atlanta makes a thoughtful holiday present for friends and family. On our donation page, just indicate the recipient’s name on the “In Honor of” line and include their address in the acknowledgement section. We’ll send a holiday card announcing your generosity, and they’ll know how much you care.  
2. Instead of the usual holiday party, throw a bash on behalf of Gilda’s Club. Ask guests to consider making donations of money (or time) instead of buying short-lived hostess gifts or presents. They can donate quickly online and avoid traffic and lines! Then enjoy your friends and share many laughs together!
3. Consider your year-end tax planning. Contributions to Gilda’s Club Greater Atlanta are tax deductible, and you’ll receive a written receipt for your records as well as our thanks. 
4. Some employers will match your contributions to Gilda’s Club or will donate to local organizations endorsed by employees. Check with your HR office or company foundation.
5. Schedule a Gut-Busting Lunch at your office! Gilda's Club Greater Atlanta and a local improvisational troupe will come to your workplace to entertain and educate your associates. 7. Around the country, many individuals, employee groups, and organizations throw special fundraising events to benefit Gilda’s Club. If you own a restaurant, store, or other business, consider donating a portion of one week’s profits to Gilda’s Club Greater Atlanta in exchange for promotional mention at our events, among our volunteers, and on our website.
