Just for Teens

Gilda's Club Greater Atlanta will provide a warm and supportive environment for teens to socialize and discuss the impact of cancer on their lives. Teen specific support groups, lectures, and workshop activities highlight the unique experiences of a teen living with cancer.

Teen Talk is a program designed to provide teenagers (12-16) with an opportunity to talk about cancer, their feelings and issues about living with cancer.

Gilda's Club is working to involve teens in activities, special events and social activities within the Clubhouse. "I'm normally not open at all, I keep everything inside", as Carissa a teen living with cancer shared with the Gilda's Club Worldwide network. As teens become involved in activities at the Club they open up and begin to understand their journey in living with cancer.
